Georgia’s contribution to Dorset’s structural change programme was significant as we became an early adopter of the new national policy reform. Georgia led the consultation communication plan on behalf of nine councils. She advised at Board level, crafted the public-facing narrative, led stakeholder engagement and prepared our proposal to government. She handled difficult media and relationships with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders with impressive strategic ability.

We worked closely and positively together on the council’s extensive and ambitious transformation programme, with Georgia ensuring excellent change communications was in place focusing on external and internal stakeholders.
Georgia worked collaboratively with communications leads across Dorset to lead the council’s statutory duty to communicate with the public during the covid19 pandemic. It was her responsibility to ensure public health messages reached local people, so that desired behaviours were achieved and the spread of the virus slowed. Despite the severity and length of the crisis situation, Georgia continued to enthusiastically contribute at a strategic level, bringing creativity to the local campaigns, ensuring messages resonated with an audience of 400,000 people to stimulate them to change their behaviours.
